Business is changing here at gogovivi, my little handbag empire! I haven't been very busy with my Etsy shop these days because I have been focused on some other aspects of my business:

1. Going legal. Gogovivi Designs, LLC, is incubating and will soon be official!

2. Sourcing materials: It is a little heartbreaking to me that I had to leave my sources in Korea behind when we moved to China. It took me SO LONG to find a leather source, and now I have to start over again. Not to mention that I also have to find new sources for textiles and hardware...I see some trips to Hong Kong and Shanghai in my future!

3. Finding help with production: DONE! I have found a small local workshop that is going to help produce my bags! Which means that for the first time, gogovivi will have an inventory and predictable production. It is an exhilirating feeling to delegate the most tedious part of this business to someone else, and I was so excited to pick up my first bags yesterday. See them now in my Etsy shop, and see more colors in coming days!

4. New marketing materials: Working with a designer on Etsy, I have a new shop banner and new business card. See my new banner here. Here's what my cards look like:



5. Marketing: I have been featured on a few fashion and design blogs since we arrived in China. I will be spending a lot more time seeking this kind of promotion in coming weeks. As well as maybe doing some paid advertising, and crafting a business plan...and accounting...and hopefully designing some new bags.
