Our Asia adventure will continue...

...in China!!

We're going to miss Haeundae, our view, and our beach (along with our many friends in Korea, of course) but we are excited about our next chapter. Bruce has been hired as the Manufacturing Engineering Operations Director (or something like that...sorry Bruce if I got it wrong) for Nike in Qingdao, China.

You can read about Qingdao here. Its a medium-sized city, bigger than Busan but smaller than Beijing or Shanghai, between which it is located. Its on the coast, so maybe we won't have to forego our beach fun, to which we have grown so accustomed. Its colder in winter than it is in Busan, but I hope that the other prevailing weather patterns (like sunny winters!) are the same.

On a positive note, Qingdao has a good brewery, so we will be released from beer purgatory soon (its still no microbrew, but Tsingtao beer is a big notch up in quality from Korean beer!).

Bruce starts work in Qingdao around Dec 1, and its a 2-3 year assignment. We don't have a firm departure date yet, but will post more when we learn more.
