I'm a big girl now

mmm...mmm...good!

You might know about Kiley's ongoing respiratory health problems. The past eighteen months have been one case of bronchitis follow by another, followed by pneumonia, followed by bronchitis, followed by a broken rib from coughing...you get the picture. In a desperate bid for a solution, we finally turned to TRADITIONAL KOREAN MEDICINE!!!

We met a Korean traditional medicine doctor on the train one day so I decided to for a visit. After having my chi read electronically for 15 minutes, I was diagnosed with weak lung chi.* The treatment? 20 days of this:

three times a day. Its a mysterious concoction of herbs and lizard tails. It tastes something like dirt plus grass plus sludge plus ginseng. I'm on day 5. Only 15 more to go!

*weak lung chi: I don't know what it means, either! But its not good!

Do you think the "yellow dust" exacerbated your symptoms?
