Holiday decorating

We turned on our Christmas tree! There's not a live Christmas tree to be had in Korea, so we decided to get a tree that is so artificial that it couldn't possibly be taken for a real tree. The result: our winter-white fiber optic tree! Its beautiful in all its synthetic glory, decorated as it is with dozens of miniature disco balls and a sprinkling of blue plastic balls for color. At night we sit, mesmerized, as it cycles through all its colors. They're blue! No, wait, they're purple! No wait...they're green! Yellow! Orange! Red! White!
