In my element - and its not as tacky as it sounds

I didn't know gold leather was going to be my element! This is my second leather handbag, and I loooooove it so much I am actually going to keep it and use it! My first gogovivi handbag, if you can believe it!
I have been wanting to work in leather for a long time now and have spent the last few weeks (before and after Cambodia) troubleshooting. Some leather is super easy to work with, other leather no so much. Thickness, stiffness, and how you construct it all play a part. I was so frustrated earlier this week that in desperation, I went to my sewing machine dealer (Korean, no English) and got a tutorial in stitching leather. Imagine - a tutorial in Korean to a person who doesn't speak Korean. It took a while but I finally got the picture.
Anyway, here's she is. Gold leather (but not super shiny; its not as tacky as it sounds) with a small Japaneses motif printed on using my print gocco machine, also in gold. Red Thai silk lining. I'm making another one for sale and it should be done tomorrow if all goes well!
