Thanksgiving-ish

It wasn't all bad being in Korea for Thanksgiving!

The actual date of Thanksgiving here is a little arbitrary, seeing as that no one except lonely American expats even know its happening. Its like an imaginary holiday! We had plans to cook our turkey on Thursday as is customary but unfortunately, when I took it out of the refrigerator at noon on Thursday, it was still too frozen to cook, and I didn't have enough time to do a cold water bath! So we postponed until the next day. Our downstairs neighbors, the Lindners, and our Danish friends, the Christensens (aka the Vikings) joined us for the feast. Remarkable that once you get a turkey, you can put on a pretty good spread here! There were 5 kids including Vivian, and 6 adults, so there was lots of action.
