waiting for something to happen

Its a quiet day around here. Viv is not in school on Thursdays, and we're waiting until our friends are out of school to go swimming. Its a gorgeous late summer day here on the beach, and it may be one of the last ones we get to enjoy! Viv is being very patient, contemplating her navel.
